Toronto Financial District

Toronto Financial District is home to many new condos and lofts as well as office buildings and an increasing important part of the local real estate picture and a great place to live.

Bay Street in the centre of the stock market district is the home to Canada's financial industry just as Wall Street is used in the United States.

Bay Street is home to numerous corporate headquarters, law firms, insurance companies and stockbrokers which lease space in huge skyscrapers like the Toronto-Dominion Centre and First Canadian place.

Condominium development on Bay north of financial district boomed during the 1990s attracting many who work there to live donwtown thereby avoiding the daily commute with developments like the Polo Club and others springing up along Bay up to Bloor.

It is estimated that 100,000 commuters enter and leave the financial district each working day.

Condos have multipled within easy walking distance to the core both east, west, south and north. Financial District to Home
